MCA Confirms Filing Deadlines for ROC & XBRL Returns in FY 2024–25

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has reaffirmed annual filing deadlines for ROC and XBRL submissions for the financial year 2024–25, as per standard post-AGM timelines.

The following are the key due dates:

Key Filing Due Dates:

– Form AOC-4 / AOC-4 (XBRL):
Due within 30 days of the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
For example, if the AGM is held on September 30, 2025, the deadline is October 30, 2025.

– Form MGT-7 / MGT-7A (Annual Return):
Due within 60 days of the AGM.
AGM on September 30  due by November 29, 2025.

– Form ADT-1 (Auditor Appointment):
Must be filed within 15 days of the AGM.
AGM on September 30 due by October 15, 2025.

– Form CRA-4 (Cost Audit Report):
Due within 30 days from the date of receipt of the cost audit report.

Penalties for Late Filing:

As per TaxConcept, “Forms AOC-4 and MGT-7 attract a penalty of ?100 per day of delay with no maximum cap,” making timely submission critical for companies across all sectors.
