European and U.S. bond markets diverge as economic divide deepens The gap between U.S. and German 10-year bond yields has hit its widest since July, as the U.S. economy strengthens while Europe weakens, pressuring the ECB to cut rates. U.S. bond yields have surged, while German ones have only slightly risen. Goldman Sachs expects the gap to reach 200 basis points. This divergence is boosting the dollar as investors favor U.S. bonds, while the euro falls to a two-month low. To find out more details please visit : https://www.reuters.com/ |
