Bank of England Announces Final Testing Window for XBRL Migration

By Ez-XBRL Team 21 February, 2024

The Bank of England has recently issued a Statistical Notice (2024/04) providing key updates on Form IPA UAT Testing and XBRL Migration. This follows the announcement in Statistical Notice 2023/12 about the postponed migration of Form IPA to XBRL. The Bank has now scheduled a final User Acceptance Testing (UAT) window from 12 February to 8 March 2024.

. During this period, reporters will have their last chance to submit Form IPA in the BEEDS UAT environment. The migration to the new Form IPA is expected to start in the upcoming spring, marking the final UAT window before the new collection template is launched. All Form IPA reporters will have their relevant accounts and returns automatically created, removing the need to request access.
