EDGAR Next Enrollment

Filers must have the following:

• Current Central Index Key (CIK)
• CIK Confirmation Code (CCC)
• Passphrase (must be reset if not updated since September 2019)
• Information for each Account Administrator, including:
  • Full name
  • Email address (must match the individual’s Login.gov account)
  • Business address
  • Business telephone number

The enrollment must be completed by an individual or entity that is authorized to act on behalf of the filer. This requires coordination among all individuals and entities authorized to file on behalf of the filer to determine the appropriate party.

The new EDGAR Filer Management system utilizes Login.gov for secure access, requiring individual account credentials with multifactor authentication for all filers and delegated users. Each entity must have at least two account administrators, except for individual filers and single-member companies. Entities can designate up to 20 Account Administrators, 20 Technical Administrators, and 500 Users.

Legacy access codes (CIK, CCC, passphrase) are required for initial enrollment, EDGAR Next transitions filers to a system based on Login.gov credentials and role-based permissions. Ongoing access will not rely solely on legacy codes.

Yes. To maintain access to EDGAR Next, filers must annually confirm that:

• All users, account administrators, technical administrators, and delegated entities listed are authorized to act on the filer’s behalf; and
• All filer-related information on the dashboard is complete and accurate.

Yes, enrollment can be completed either manually through the EDGAR Filer Management dashboard or through a bulk upload process.
